Everlore Companion is a free Windows app that transcribes locally. The recording never leaves your computer, and it does not touch your monthly audio minutes no matter how many player tracks you bring.

Does Everlore work from audio or text?
Both. Upload a single mixed recording of the table, upload separate tracks for each player, or paste a transcript you already have. If you bring text, Everlore skips transcription and goes straight to reading the session.
Do I have to send my recordings to the cloud?
Only if you want to. Managed transcription is the default and needs no setup. If you would rather keep the audio on your own machine, Everlore Companion is a free Windows app that transcribes locally and delivers only the finished text to your campaign.
Does the AI change my campaign wiki automatically?
No. Everlore prepares a reviewable change set. You decide whether each discovery updates an existing page, becomes a new page, or stays out of the wiki entirely. Pages change only when you press Apply.
What happens to uploaded audio?
Audio is stored only while Everlore creates the transcript, then deleted from Everlore storage once the transcript exists. Transcript text stays with the campaign until you delete it. With Companion, no recording is uploaded at all.
Can I take my campaign with me?
Yes. Everlore exports an Obsidian-ready Markdown vault with the pages, links, indexes, timeline, and campaign structure you have approved.
How does the closed beta work?
We review applications from experienced game masters and invite small cohorts whose active campaigns can help us learn. Tell us about your table and why campaign memory matters to you. Applying does not guarantee a seat.
